Senior Photography Sessions
Essence offers high school seniors a unique experience for their Senior Photography. Outdoor portraits are a great way to personalize an otherwise boring indoor session. I encourage seniors to bring three changes of clothes. One casual outfit, a dressier outfit, and then something that shows their interests is suggested. Sports uniforms and equipment are a great way to add a personalized touch. Seniors have also brought their pets for part of their session.
Where are Senior Pictures taken?
The outdoor studio at Essence offers a variety of scenes. Hammocks, benches, arbors, woodland areas, and fields of flowers add interest to the shoot. Special arrangements can also be made to go on location if the senior has special needs for their senior photography session. High school stadiums, horse stables, and seniors homes have all been used to capture their session. Area parks make a great setting too. Wehr’s Dam in Orefield and Lockridge Furnace Museum are two favorite spots. Both parks offer a variety of backdrops: stone walls, covered bridges, and streams look great in portraits. The ideal time to schedule portraits is the summer before your senior year. That way you don’t have to schedule around school activities.
